- Fuzhou General Hospital was established in 1949, which has a long glory history. With the development of more half century, it has grown into a large-scale “national First Class of the third Grade Hospital” with integrated feature of complete subjects, abundant technology, advanced equipment, comfort therapeutic environment, that covers prevention, medical, health care, teaching and scientific research.
- The hospital has won the honorary title of International Emergency Rescue Net Hospital of National Ministry of Health, “120” medical emergency net hospital of Fuzhou province, specified hospital for traffic accidental treatment of Fuzhou province, first group of specified institution for medical care.
- The hospital covers the area of more than 100,000 M2 and has 78,687 M2 of buildings.. with more than 1300 hosptial beds. The hospital has 1,900 beds serving 40,000 inpatients and 1,200,000 outpatients and emergency each year. Among its 2,300 medical staffs are 300 professors and associate professors, 600 physicians, 700 nurses and 450 technicians.
